What are payment options offered by ShopShaadi.com?

We support the following payment options at ShopShaadi:

  1. Cash On Delivery (available in select pin codes)
  2. Credit Card
  3. Debit Card
  4. Net banking
  5. UPI
  6. Wallet

How do I pay for the service that I booked?

My booking the service, make sure you read all the deliverables and agree to the same before making any payments.

  1. Blocking amount for reserving the services is a must at the time of checkout.
  2. The service amount to be paid directly to the vendor or using any form of the available payment options, before starting the service.
  3. Scanning the QR code is important to mark the starting time of the service.
  4. Full payment needs to be made at the time of arrival of the professional to fulfill the service.
  5. Kindly Note: The final amount to be paid before the commencement of the service(s)
    booked.

How does the COD (Cash on Delivery) payment option work?

ShopShaadi’s COD option allows you to pay order value at the time of delivery for all orders up to Rs. 10,000/-, for productions, however, blocking amount is mandatory for reserving the services. To pay for any order using the Cash on Delivery (COD) mode of payment, please select the ‘Cash On Delivery’ option on the payment page. The Cash on Delivery option is available only in select pin codes.

Why can’t I see the COD option on my payment page?

If you do not see a COD option on your payment page, this may be due to one of the following reasons:

  1. Your order value may be above Rs. 20,000/-
  2. Certain services may not support the Cash on Delivery option for your delivery address
  3. You may be using a prepaid coupon code which disables the COD option. You can remove the concerned coupon to be able to avail of the COD option
  4. Your cart contains a product that is only available through online payment methods (To identify, kindly visit the product page to find if a product has the following disclaimer: “Cash on delivery is not available for this product, you must make an online payment.”)

I want to know about the EMI (credit card) payment option.

EMI (Equated Monthly Instalments) is a convenient payment option that you can choose to pay for the order in easy installments to the credit card issuing bank. However, this option is not supported right now and we can certainly keep you posted once we launch this service for planning your wedding.

What should I do if my payment fails?

Please retry making the payment after ensuring that the information entered is accurate, including all account details, billing addresses, and passwords. If your payment still fails, you can use the Cash on Delivery (COD) payment option, if available on the payment page to place your order. If your payment is debited from your account after a payment failure, it will be credited back within 7-10 days, after we receive a confirmation from the bank.

 

Return Policy

ShopShaadi’s Returns & Exchange Policy allows you to return or exchange most products purchased on ShopShaadi for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (check the product details page for the same).

However, customers should carefully look at each product’s information page to check whether the product is returnable or a No Returns/Exchange product.

RETURNS CRITERIA: (for products only)

Customers seeking to return or exchange a product for any reason must notify ShopShaadi within 48 hours of receiving the product by the following methods (applied only in the case of non-perishable items):

  1. You can place a Return/Exchange request from the ‘Order History’ section under ‘My Account’.
  2. Alternatively, you can also write to us at support@shopshaadi.com or contact Customer Care at 7982763616.

Once the request has been generated, the items must be returned to us within 7 business days. ShopShaadi does not provide refunds for returned orders. However, the Company will provide Store Credit worth the same amount as the returned product, if the following criteria are met:

  • All items must be returned in their original condition with all original tags and packaging intact. All material, including plastic wrapping, dust bags, gift boxes, and authenticity cards must be returned along with the product. (E.g. shoes must be packed in the original shoe box).
  • All items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and unsoiled.
  • If the above criteria are not met, the product will be returned to the customer & the customer will not be entitled to any store credit.
  • The same policies apply to all items bought via Store Credit.

ShopShaadi offers Free Returns i.e. we will arrange and pay for the shipping cost of returned products within India. We only ask that you preserve its original condition, tags, and packaging. There are two ways to return a product to us:

  1. Pick-up: In most locations, we offer a free return pick-up service.
  2. Self-Ship: In case a reverse pick-up facility is not available at your location, you may courier the product to us within 7 business days at our registered address: ShopShaadi Pvt Ltd, Plot no 108, Sector 44, Near Millennium City Centre Metro Station, Gurgaon – 122003, Haryana, India.

We will reimburse the shipping cost, up to Rs. 200, as soon as we receive the courier receipt and the product back at our warehouse. Note: Reimbursement will only be processed if the courier slip is emailed to us at  support@shopshaadi.com

  1. ShopShaadi does not provide pick-up for Exchange. Once an Exchange request has been generated, please ship the product to us within 7 business days at our registered address: ShopShaadi Pvt Ltd, Plot no 108, Sector 44, Near Millennium City Centre Metro Station, Gurgaon – 122003, Haryana, India.

ShopShaadi will not bear the cost of shipping for Exchange Items. All exchanges are subject to stock availability. Please note that we only offer size exchanges.

The following EXCEPTIONS and RULES apply to this Policy:

  1. If the product received is faulty or damaged, please inform our Customer Care team, with pictures of the damage or issue. Our team will assess the damage and offer to exchange the product for a new one or give store credit, once the original product is returned.
    • Please note that products are considered “damaged” only if they have a severe manufacturing defect making them unfit for wear or use. Items that are damaged due to normal wear are not faulty products.
    • A product is not considered ‘faulty’ if there is a slight color variation between the image on the website and the actual product.
  1. ShopShaadi is not liable for damages to the product after it has been received by the customer. If the product has been damaged in transit (e.g. the packaging is damaged), the customer may refuse to accept the product and inform ShopShaadi by emailing support@shopshaadi.com or calling our Customer Care Helpline at _____ from Monday to Friday: 11 am – 7 pm and on Saturdays 11 am – 6 pm)
    • Refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances.

 

Cancelation Policy

Customers looking to cancel a particular service for any reason must notify ShopShaadi before the stipulated time mentioned under each category of the service booked, which is 7 days in advance of availing the service.

  • You can place a cancelation request from the ‘Order History’ section under ‘My Account’.
  • Alternatively, you can also write to us at support@shopshaadi.com or contact Shopshaadi Genie at 7982763616.
  • At the time of cancelation of any service, the timelines need to be checked thoroughly. A full refund of the amount (in the form of store credits and after deducting the platform fees) shall be given if the service is canceled before 30 days of the blocked service date.
  • 50% of the amount to be refunded as store credits, can be transferred to a friend for using the service, valid for up to 6 months if the cancellation takes place from 15 days of service.
  • No refunds shall be entertained if any service is canceled between 0-15 days of the service date.
